Bellis Perrenis
Bellis perrenis- a perennial sun. The plant is found in a common meadow. Which is widespread throughout Europe and the world. The name itself refers to an everyday and clear motif - the sun.
I construct my sun from two elements - the sun - a plant often found in low meadows and - the sun’s vibrations - recorded by the nose About 55 m. pr. m.e. Lucrecius, continuing the ideas of atomists, wrote that the light and heat reaching us from the Sun consist of small particles. Therefore, I use the flower motif of the plant itself, which resembles the surface of the sun, and I add 217 petals to an easily recognizable sun motif. This is my interpretation, which con- sists of Lucrecius’s theory that light is made up of small particles, and at the same time I combine this theory with another, Electro- magnetic Wave Theory. All of this creates a mesmerizing spinning ball. Which enchants the viewer for a moment with its fractality.
In this work, I try to emphasize the fact that one and the other theory does not contradict each other. Both objects and phenomena change from different perspectives, but do not lose their essence as a result. It is the same sun that emits light.
